Grant & Afsaneh Roe
ABOUT US
In 2019, Grant and Afsaneh relocated from Arkansas, USA to Cape Town, South Africa where they served at Numa Life Church (NLC); whose mission was to help individuals discover their identity in Christ within a diverse community of believers.
After 3 years of serving within the local church in Cape Town, they relocated their family back to Fayetteville, Arkansas and currently serve as Senior Associate Pastors at Christian Life Cathedral.
Grant Roe
Before moving to South Africa, Grant worked as a Soderquist Fellow at the Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics prior to serving as the College and Young Adult Pastor at CLC.
Grant is currently an MDiv Candidate at South African Theological Seminary, and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from John Brown University.
Afsaneh Roe
As a daughter of first-generation immigrants from Iran and Mexico, Afsaneh sees the immense value of building communities of diversity. Before moving to South Africa, Afsaneh taught Public Speaking at the University of Arkansas while also leading the Women’s Ministry and Pastoring College Students alongside her husband.
Afsaneh holds an MA in Communication from the U of A and enjoys helping people find confidence in their unique voice.
About ALTAR
ALTAR Global is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2018 by Grant and Afsaneh Roe. ALTAR is an acronym for “All Languages Tribes And Races” and was partly inspired by the scene around the throne of God in Revelation 7:9. As an organization, ALTAR exists to unify, equip, and mobilize the Church toward the Great Commission for God’s glory.
